Trekister was founded on September 17th, 2009 as online community dedicated to travel and adventure.
My name is Steve. I created Trekister as a way to share with the world that life is what you make it.
I’m currently a senior at the University of Florida. Go Gators!
As you may imagine, many of my posts will be centered in and around Gainesville, FL yet in no way does that limit my interests or what others’ should discuss. Tell me all about Rome, Tokyo, or a little village in the South Pacific.

Hey Steve, nice picture! I also am a student living in Gainesville. I notice your picture was taken at one of the springs, they are a wonderful part of this community. One of my favorite aspects of Gainesville is the football game day atmosphere. Also, you should check out the devil’s millhopper, its a nice nature spot. Take it easy!
