Getting to Washington D.C.
Hi World,
A friend of mine wanted to get to Washington D.C. so I decided to help him out.
Great thing: you get to benefit from it!
Take a look… the photos are from a trip I took to the nation’s capital last year.

Getting Out There
A Nice Find
Hi everyone,
Spending sometime in Tampa this past weekend, I stumbled upon another beautiful area near Tampa close to St. Petersburg.
The place is called Madeira Beach. It’s the 60′s mixed with the 21st century. A scenic place with a breathtaking beach.
Here is an idea about where the place is in relation to Tampa.

There was a sweet boardwalk and what seemed like an endless beach. If you’re in the area, I’d say check it out.

Florida’s Beautiful West Coast
Hi Everyone,
Since I just told you some reasons why you should check out Tampa. I thought I would tell you about a city very close. A city named for it’s beautiful beaches. I’m talking about Clearwater, FL!
I was fortunate effort to spend a weekend there last April. If you want to just relax and get some sun, the sandy beaches there are fantastic!
Here are some pictures from my time there.
If you get the chance, check it out. Here is a link of somethings to do in Clearwater. Go snorkeling, diving, or spit on a frosty drink while lounging in your beach chair.

Tampa & The Killers
Hi Everyone,
In the spirit of Friday, I’m off to what may be the culmination of my life. In other words, I’m off to Tampa, FL to see one of my favorite bands the Killers. I’ve been to Tampa many times before. It’s a great city.

In Tampa, you can find everything from Busch Gardens (the place for roller-coaster lovers) to fine entertainment or even check out a ball game.
Not to mention, the incredible beaches nearby.
If you are ever in the area, stay a little while.

Well, I’m back. The concert was incredible. Everything you could ask for from intense music to elaborate lighting. I had a great time without going very far.
Here are some of the pictures from the concert.

DAY TRIPPING – gainesvillestyle
I’m back to tell you all about:
DAYTRIPPING.
It’s the best little get away of the week. I recently went tubing down the Ichetucknee River in Fort White, FL.
That’s about a 40 minute drive outside Gainesville, FL (Home of the Florida Gators).
It’s such a serene place full of nature. 4 hours slowly drifting down an undisturbed, untouched river where man and nature meet. Turtles grace the logs, remnants of once mighty trees. Fish are abundant in the stream.
If you get there early enough in the morning, otters can been seen on the banks.
The Ichetucknee is a great place to relax, get some sun, and gain a little perceptive on life.
For more information visit the FL State Park site.

Welcome to Trekister!
Hi World!
Welcome to Trekister, a new blog dedicated to those with a sense of adventure.
Let me give you my idea for what I hope Trekister will become.
Trekister was started for the spontaneous, those who aren’t afraid of stepping outside their comfort zone, and those who seem unable to stay in one place for a long time.
Trekister is your story, your chance to share with a similar-minded community all those unbelievable moments.
The only way this is going to work is if we are all willing to get candid, open ourselves up, and share those snapshots of life that make it all worthwhile.
This is your community. This is you opportunity to connect with others near and far by sharing your favorite day trip, secret sweet spots in ordinary towns, and your dream to see the world we live in.
Here it hoping that Trekister becomes a place where inspiration lives, sights are seen, and moments are shared.
_Till next time,
Steve
